The Diocese of Leeds is recruiting a Choral Director
The Diocese of Leeds is seeking a leader of children’s voices to work as a Choral Director in its Schools Singing Programme. This programme, recognised by a prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society award, works with around 6,500 children each week in schools across West and North Yorkshire. Our 19 after-school choirs provide outstanding choral opportunities for young people, including BBC broadcasts, tours and recordings, with high-quality organ, piano and classical accordion tuition available for all choristers and school pupils across the Diocese.
This role is based in Bradford and includes the direction and development of Bradford Catholic Boys’ Choir, its feeder junior choirs and the delivery of our whole-class singing sessions in the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust – providing outstanding opportunities for singing in some of the country’s most disadvantaged areas.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: Pay scale from £27,000 to £32,000 per annum.
