Can you play a pivotal role in supporting the Diocese with a bold and exciting new venture, engaging children and young people across the Diocese and enabling evangelisation through music in schools?

If so, then we would welcome an application from you for the post of Choral Director.

The Choral Director will lead high-quality weekly choral singing sessions in schools, conducting choirs and helping to shape the ministry of music throughout the Diocese. We are looking for someone who has a passion for enabling singing to act as a vehicle for social change and empowerment amongst our young people in the Preston area.

• The role is a permanent, full-time appointment, working 20 to 35 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. Flexible working will be required including evening and weekend work.
• We are offering a salary of £24,000 to £26,000 with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a range of other benefits.
• You will be based in the Preston area and will be required to travel to educational institutions.
