The Archdiocese of Liverpool is recruiting two Choral Directors
The Archdiocese of Liverpool Schools Singing Programme is a bold and exciting new venture, which aims to engage children and young people across the Archdiocese. These two appointments to the post of Choral Director will enable evangelisation through music in schools and parishes. The programme is supported by the National Schools Singing Programme, found and supported by the Hamish Ogston Foundation.
The Choral Directors will lead high quality weekly choral singing sessions in schools, conducting choirs and helping to shape the ministry of music throughout the Archdiocese. These are new roles, and we are looking for two individuals who have a passion for enabling singing to act as a vehicle for social change and empowerment amongst our young people.
We are offering a salary of £24,000 plus an attractive pension package with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a range of other benefits. You will be based at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool and will be required to travel to educational institutions and parishes across the Archdiocese.
