Reclaiming our Choral Heritage in our State Schools

The Catholic Union is hosting an online webinar on Wednesday 13 January at 6.00pm titled “Evangelisation Through Music: Reclaiming the Church’s Musical Heritage in our State Schools.” Chaired by prominent journalist Catherine Pepinster, the webinar will feature Benjamin Saunders, Lead Consultant for the National Schools Singing Programme (NSSP). The discussion will explore how sacred music is being used across the UK to drive school engagement, youth mission, and social mobility. Originating from the model developed over two decades in the Diocese of Leeds, the NSSP now reaches over 38,000 state school children weekly across 437 schools under the patronage of Sir John Rutter.

This webinar is open to parents, teachers, clergy, school governors, and anyone interested in Catholic education and sacred music.
