The NSSP curriculum was featured at the Association of British Choral Directors Convention in York on 21 October 2023. Choral Directors Lizzie Leather and Daniel Rodriguez led a practical session on embedding musicianship and notation in whole-class singing.

Since 2021 NSSP sessions have included a sustained and incremental musicianship scheme written by Lucinda Geoghegan. Laying foundations in KS1 and moving through KS2 and junior choirs, this provides short nuggets of Kodaly-based work that sit comfortably within the flow of a session, moving from the physical experience of beat through to sight-singing pentatonic melodies on staff notation.
