Boston Becomes First Parish Church to Join the NSSP
We are delighted to welcome the Parish of Boston to the National Schools Singing Programme as the very first parish church to join our national network.
Celebrated for its historic choral foundation at St Botolph’s, Boston brings a proven track record of quality choral music to local primary schools, with several schools already expanding their singing provision for the upcoming academic year.
John Lyon, Director of Music, shared:
“Joining the NSSP is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a wider family with shared aims. The Parish of Boston has a rich choral tradition, and with the NSSP’s support, we look forward to expanding our work with local children even further.”
Welcoming Boston to the network, Benjamin Saunders, Lead Consultant for the NSSP, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Boston as our first parish church partner. John and his team have shown brilliant vision in reaching local primary schools, setting a wonderful precedent for how parish foundations can transform music education in their communities.”
