The National Schools Singing Programme is delighted to announce its newest seed-funding grant recipient: the historic parish of St Editha’s in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Building on the expansion of the NSSP into greater parish church settings alongside Boston and St Mary Redcliffe, St Editha’s becomes the latest parish to join the national network, bringing a proud musical tradition and a deep commitment to serving young people across the local area.

Through this partnership, St Editha’s will establish weekly school-day singing sessions across local primary schools in Tamworth. Utilising the proven NSSP musicianship curriculum, the programme will deliver high-quality choral education directly into state school classrooms, creating vibrant new pathways for children to join the parish’s expanding after-school trebles and youth choirs.
