‘They can’t stop singing!’ – NSSP voices from across the South
There are a number of outstanding NSSP programmes outside the Capital led by the Dioceses of Arundel and Brighton, Portsmouth and East Anglia. The Diocese of Clifton (Bristol) also began delivery in schools this September.
‘As a school with no specialist music teachers, we have found the Schools Singing Programme to be fantastic. The teaching is inspiring and the children’s singing has really improved. The number of children wanting to join our Choristers has rapidly increased and children have sung at Masses in school and in the parish.’ – Headteacher, Surrey
‘We have absolutely loved having Mr Cannon in our school this term. He is doing wonders with our children, really working on their pitch map, and getting them excited about singing! I hear them singing in the playground and all around the corridors because they can’t stop singing!’ – Music Lead, St Edmund Campion Primary School, Maidenhead
‘Naomi’s sessions are fantastic as always. We love your choice of songs and the children have been singing them in the corridors all week!’ – Headteacher, Norfolk
