The first after-school children’s choir in the Archdiocese of Armagh was formed in February 2024. Called ‘Jubilus’, it is giving children from some of the most disadvantaged areas in the Cathedral Parish the opportunity to engage with high quality choral singing from a young age. There are currently 36 members in the choir, and it will lay the foundations for separate boys and girls choirs at St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh over the next year.
