September 2023 sees Jaison Jeyaventhan joining Yvette Murphy as part of the team in the Diocese of Westminster.

Jaison is a musician from Harrow, North West London. Having completed his Grade 8 in both Piano and Voice at the age of 12, Jaison studied at The Purcell School for Young Musicians before going on to read Music at King’s College London, graduating in July 2023. Jaison has been singing and playing the organ at his parish church in Harrow-on-the-Hill for over a decade and was appointed as the Youth Choir Director in the parish church of Rickmansworth in November 2022. He has had several years experience of choral music, having been a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain as well as singing in the chapel choir and mixed-voice acapella group at university.

As well as his background in church and choral music, Jaison has also undergone training in Indian classical music, formerly being a member of SAMYO, the UK’s National Youth Orchestra of Indian Music. In his spare time, he enjoys writing and performing his own songs.
