The Diocese of Westminster is recruiting a Choral Director
The Diocese of Westminster is seeking to appoint a Choral Director. This new post is an exciting opportunity to work on a program to promote Mission, the key focus for all working across the Diocese. The post is part of the National School Singing Programme, and the post holder will be fully supported by colleagues within the Diocese of Leeds who have nearly two decades of experience engaging pupils and schools, and establishing choirs across a diocese.
The Diocese of Westminster is one of the smallest dioceses in England and Wales in geographical area, but the largest in terms of Catholic population and priests. The Diocese comprises 212 parishes and 208 schools located in the London boroughs north of the River Thames, west of the Lea River, in the County of Hertfordshire and the Borough of Spelthorne in Surrey. It is looking to recruit an outstanding Choral Director to help deliver the work of its singing programme – including in-class singing sessions and after-school choirs – in diocesan schools.
